EU-SENSE project presented at the Community of European Research and Innovation for Security (CERIS) Disaster-Resilient Societies (DRS) meeting

The CERIS DRS meeting, which was held on 14 of June 2021, provided an insight into key European Union projects. Over 100 participants attended the event. Identified gaps, outputs, future steps and perspectives were outlined and briefly discussed. The presented projects concerned topics such as technologies for first responders, disaster risk management, standardisation, European resilience in case of pandemics, and CBRN issues. As for the EU-SENSE project, our most crucial endavours are concentrated on data training for the system as well as preparation of the demonstration of the developed system. This demonstration will be conducted in the realistic working conditions, in the professional firefighters training centre in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. It will rely on the use of chemical simulants.
