The 2021 International Defence and Homeland Security Simulation Workshop, as a part of the International Multidisciplinary Modeling & Simulation Multiconference (I3M 2021), will be held in Krakow, Poland (15-17 September, 2021). This annual event brings experts together for the purpose of presenting and discussing all type of innovation related to modeling & simulation.
The EU-SENSE consortium members plan to attend the event and deliver a presentation concerning the simulation-based training on the use of the state-of-the-art sensor C.
The University of Warsaw proposed an Open Track on innovations for internal security. As it was stated at the conference website, innovation in technologies and knowledge is vital for developing capabilities to address today’s internal security challenges, to anticipating threats and contributing to a more competitive security industry. An individual or collective response through development of tools and know-how is a key factor in combating and minimization of threats related to internal security. Modeling and simulation provides the backdrop to the action on the development of innovation. This Open Track welcomes interdisciplinary theoretical and empirical research embedding the issues of innovations from various disciplines which influence internal security and minimize military and non-military threats.
